The summer is closing in and we would like to thank you for all your efforts this busy winter and spring!
We will close our production in the Swedish factory for summer holiday during week 28-30.
However we will have both the service department as well as our sales office open during the summer. The staff will be slightly reduced from July 9th to July 30th. This means that you will still be able to get support and service during the whole summer!
We wish you a nice summer and holiday and look forward to meet you after vacations!

Time for the Bakery China 2018! May 9-12th Asia Pacific´s leading exhibition directed against the whole value chain of the baking industry takes place in SNIEC, Shanghai. Growing every year, this huge fair had more than 2000 thousand exhibitors from 30 countries worldwide last year, and was visited by more than 122 000 persons from the baking industry. Here you can find for instance baking ingredients, bakery equipment and packaging solutions.
Last week the World Cup for Young Bakers was arranged in Valencia, Spain. The swedish junior team went home with a fantastic result, and can from now call themselves world champions in bakery! Pernilla Boström won the individual competition and third place was tricked by Tintin Larsson. As a team they did absolutely great which was enough for the gold, moreover they proved that the swedish bakery industry is in a high class.
April 24-27th the gates to the mega exhibition Food&Hotel Asia (FHA) are opening to Expo and Suntec, Singapore. Besides, this year the fair celebrates it´s 40th anniversary! FHA is a tradeshow that concentrates at the food- and hotel industry and is the leading one in Asia with its comprehensive range of the newest products, equipment and technics in the main sectors food, hotel, beverage, bakery and confection.
Bakery Showcase is Canada´s national exhibition and conference of the baking industry. Here are the newest products, ingredients, equipment, services and technologies presented for two days. This year the fair will be arranged in Toronto, April 29th-30th. You will find our distributor Harvest in booth nr. 141, where they are pleased to welcome you to see and experience quality of Sveba Dahlen.

Don't miss one of the biggest competitions for young bakers, UIBC International Competition For Young Bakers April 11th - 15th. This year it takes place in Valencia, Spain. The original competition was created back in 1971, and have until now grown to be one of the most important events for the best young bakers. The event is hosted by UIBC - the International Union of Bakers and Confectioners, which the competing countries are supposed to be members of. This year 12-14 countries may participate, and Sweden is one of them.
Yesterday and today the Nordic championship in bakery and pastry is held at Foodexpo in Herning, Denmark. The Swedish bakery- and pastry team competes against Denmark, Norway and Iceland in about for example making the best baguettes and chocolate sculpture. Machines from Sveba Dahlen are used during the competitions and can also be seen in Bago-Line´s booth, hall F. The price ceremony takes place this afternoon march 19th, when the jury is done with judging all of the fantastic pastries. We wish you good luck!
